It was life changing experience for us, as well as the students from Wild Shots Outreach when Jan and I took 12 young aspiring photographers on an aerial photography workshop this past weekend.
I will never forget how mind altering it was the first time I climbed into the seat of a light aircraft and saw the world from above. It is truly wonderful to be able to offer the same experience to others.
Wild Shots Outreach does incredible work with young people from disadvantaged communities bordering Kruger Park and teaches photography, conservation and leadership skills. Their programmes are so inspirational and provide important learning and opportunity to young people that are our conservation leaders of tomorrow.

Many thanks to Mike Kendrick and Harriet Nimmo for making it all happen, as well as to all the students for being brave enough to reach for the skies!
